Campbell's Crossing
Campbell's Crossing is a quaint rural subdivision SW of Carlinville just a few miles. A very short distance away is Super Wal-Mart. Lake Rinaker sits directly to the south of the subdivision. This subdivision sits in Brushy Mound Township so the owners appreciate the lower property taxes compared to other subdivisions in and around Carlinville.
All the lots are approximately an acre in size so as not to crowd anyone.
Greg and Brenda Campbell developed the subdivision from 30 acres of timber. The street lights bring back the old charm and give the subdivision the 'Norman Rockwell'feel like Main Street in Old St. Charles. If you want a peaceful setting and don't want crowded in on both sides check out the remaining lots. You will find very nice homes already making this a 'old time', 'slowed down' feeling of peace and serenity. New homes built to look old,grace this subdivision with beautifully landscaped yards. Lot 17 b is a three acre lot with several spots to put a home. This lot has a slope that is mostly trees and then goes down into a meadow like area where there is a creek running through the corner.
